If semi-black anodizing, the cost is lower. But the nail head is white, and the nail head will be embedded in the rivet shell [after use]. 

If all black anodizing, the cost will increase because the nail is also anodized. For the all black product, the breaking point will still be its original color after the nail is off, which is unavoidable after use.

In conclusion, the cost and appearance will be different, but there is no big difference in usage. Choosing a semi-color or whole color rivet, it depends on customer’s requirement.
